I have worked and dedicated my life in ministry since I was a child. I have read the entire Bible twice (when I was in the 9th and 10th grade) gaining understanding of God's word; in the path and plan that God had designed for my life. I have been preaching over 29 years and have been pastoring alongside of my husband, Bishop Atkins for more than 20 years. I have attended several universities and have received several degrees; however it brings me great joy to have and continue to mentor and to be a spiritual mother to many women and have enjoyed educating, providing scholarship for college, and giving awards (God's Trophy Women) to many women in my immediate community and around the country. I am currently a senior Pastor (an Apostle in the Lord's Church, Intercessor, and Prophetic Teacher to many in the body of Christ).

Career Coach

Industry

Public School Education

Professional Firsts

I was a career switcher into education after 20 years in business as a trainer. After a change in business needs, I made the transition from business to education to provide young people with the knowledge and skills I had acquired over the my 20 years in business. I was blessed to work as call center manager and trainer in business, where I trained and mentored new employees. When I entered education, I began as a Special Education Teacher, where I became a mentor within 2 years. I was also a Clinical Resident Coach for aspiring teachers, which afforded me to become a Clinical Faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University. In year eight of my teaching career, after transitioning to new school and immediately becoming the Grade Level Chair and Assistant Testing Coordinator, I was blessed to use all of my skills to come a Career Coach for first and second year teachers. I know I am where God needs to be, because this not a job or career, being a career coach is a passion.
